...fresh from Araneta C. in Cubao, me and my friends are there to witness this "every-two" years event of if NOT the but ONE of THE most successful clothing chain in the country or should i say in Asia?
Every 2 years Su Yen Corporation, a company known for the following brands:
a. CELIO
b. Kashieca
c. Oishi
d. Human
e. Bench
had been producing fashion shows for the brand that made stars like RICHARD GOMEZ, JOMARI YLLANA, WENDELL RAMOS and DIETHER OCAMPO to name a few became a household nme and an established celebrity. I'm talking about the brand BENCH/.
now on its 4th or 5th year i think they once again produced another fashion show themed:
"BLACKOUT"
...with again fab billboards, effective promo, posters and releases that made all the sangkabadingans go to every bench outlets and demand for the ticket. every fashion show you'll surely compare it with the previous year kasi iba ng iba! bongga kung bongga talaga! nakakaloka...but this year, i was...ahmmm how should i say it? ahmmm hmmmm...aahhh...ehhhh
some what?!...hmmmph...errr.... okay fine...erghhh... basta ANG CHAKA CHAKA NIYA! PROMISE!

Bench Fashion shows have been dubbed as THE "Victoria's Secret fashion show" of the Philippines, but what happen? here are my breakdown/summary of the show...
*late- pinoy time fine!
*set- ito ang unang kakabog sayo..infairness they went sa minimalist simpleng white ramp stage and high ladder plus irritating White panels at top and an alien-ship like circles "i-dont-know-its purpose" looking display above.
*panels are way low audience located at the upper section like me cannot see the mother panel board located in the middle of the stage.
*blinding lights- which is normal naman pero you know the feeling na parang its not effective?

i read an article that the flow of the program is like this:

... it started with the music which i believe, i think? eh to estblish the vibe, the feel of the event why did i say so? ang oa kasi sa tagal ng music na pinatugtog! then models came...tapos abs cbn's precious love team kim and gerald opened the show with kim in a cute kimono type top and colored jeans (i cant remmber the color) with umbrella-infairness shes pretty! while gerald in his army type green pants and a "this- is-not-a coat-wait-it-is-a-coat-i-think?" top. tapos models again...tapos stars like john pratts, reyver cruz...and others ramped their way in the stage without me understanding the blockings...mukhang ganun ata talaga ang instruction sa kanila...tapos hmmm ano pa ba? wait to make this short eto nalang...sidelights of the show:
- sarah geronimo was there muntik siyang nadulas dahil sa trail ng outfit nia.
- jake cuenca matapos magkambyo sa mga nakaraang fashion shows e nagpakita ng butt nia (naka-t-bak si kuya sa loob ng jumper type na damit nia!)
- magaling maglakad si bubbles paraiso.
- ang sarap ni sam! yun na! no more explanation btw parang xtra lang siya ang bilis...
- naghubad si rafael rossel!
- ang daming fans ni robby of pbb teen plus kaysa sa grand winner na si ej falcon
- baklang bakla si enchong dee!
- si mr. ust david chua...balot na balot...bayan!
- mas madami ang male models kaysa girls
- may dance number na mali mali ang mga male models in their nudes silang lahat!
- panalo ang mga headdress ito lang ata nagustuhan ko at ang avp.
- kamukha daw ni francine si aiai d.
- nakasisilaw ang kaputian ni ruffa mae
- magaling rumampa si priscilla maerellis (ms. earth 05 o 06?)
- ang payat at josa ni angelica p.!
- si wendell- boring di nia natapatan un mga dati nia, si jomari ahhhh nagpatawa?
- diether gosh..perfect body talaga!
- rica p. in her fierce hairstyle..
-madaming butt exposure na kahit ikaw na ang pinaka ma-el na babae o bading magsasawa ka na!
- mas pinalakpakan si dingdong kaysa kay richard gutierrez
- magugulat ka na tapos na, at mamumutawi sa iyong bibig na..."un lang?!" at sisigaw ng "chaka!"
- may new crush pala si ron of be bench runner up! laki... un nah!
- si jay-r? hmmm andun siya somewhere...

sori...ang taas kasi ng expectation ko..and i like the concept i thought bench is setting again a trend where in color is out! black and white is in! pansinin sa lahat ng stores diba? tapos ganun ang nangyari?! gawd... sayang... magulo ang blockings, boring walang energy...basag ang music... gone are the days na may live musical accompaniments at alive na alive mga models at artista...
sayang di achieve ang concept...sayang hindi handa...parang gustong mairaos lang...

i'm sure Ben Chan is not happy with it too...i know mr. Lozada- director, your not happy with it too...richard gomez and lucy t. salamat at di na kayo rumampa...pero atleast you stayed till the end unlike the couple kris a. and james y., sayang talaga it could have been better...mas onti din artista this time...hay... CHAKA talaga i'm sorry! bumawi kayo ng bongga next fashion show! eefort ba ko ng ganito if its not true?! i came kasi not just for the bodies...wel siguro fine oo na! 50% of it! pero ba naman the other half e for the SHOW! better luck next time!
